Q: What is Rizwan’s confidence level like right now?
A: I think it’s the same Rizwan we always know him to be. He’s one of those characters who always has a smile on his face and talks about positivity. He’s still a very confident guy.
Q: How do you feel you can turn things around after three defeats in a row?
A: We have to put these three games behind us and look forward to the next few. We’re going to our home venue now, and it’s a lot to look forward to. It’s not about how you start; it’s how you finish.
Q: Was the target of 228 chaseable?
A: Any target is chaseable if you’re batting second. In my honest opinion, it wasn’t a 200-plus pitch, but they played really well after those two early wickets. Credit to Haris and TKC; they were striking the ball very well.
Q: What did you think of the crowd today?
A: It’s difficult to speak on an opposing crowd, but I love to see fans out enjoying cricket. They’re just there to see good cricket, and it’s nice to see them in numbers.
Q: What are your thoughts on Ali Raza’s bowling?
A: He’s very exciting. He seems to be coming in with a bit of gas and he’s certainly one that you can look out for in the future for Pakistan.
